Our annual Steps to Independence Dinner is our largest fundraising event of the year, generating critically needed revenue to help support our programs. The event is held every November at the Crystal Plaza in Livingston. You can support the event with the purchase of tables, tickets and journal ads.
2006 Dinner Raises Over $400,000!
Kelly Marx first became involved in fundraising for CPNJ in the early 1960's, an activity that soon led to his joining the agency's Board of Trustees. After 43 years of service, Kelly recently demonstrated that he is still the master fundraiser. As the honoree for the agency's 2006 Steps to Independence Dinner, our largest fundraising event of the year, Kelly helped raise more than $400,000 - making the dinner the most successful fundraiser in the 53-year history of the agency.
