Welcome to Cerebral Palsy of North Jersey's website. We have tried to design a site that effectively conveys information on our various programs to our neighbors with disabilities and their families. We have also tried to offer our friends a way to learn more about us and to get more involved with our agency. Please let us know what you think and how we might make any improvements.
CPNJ has been serving our communities since 1953. Our more than 50 years of experience has taught us the value of focusing on ongoing improvement -- we are always working to ensure our programs provide the most effective services in the most efficient manner possible. Our efforts were recognized in 2006, when we received accreditation from the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
CARF is well known among agencies working with individuals with disabilities as promoting the highest standards of service. We sought accreditation for six different programmatic areas, including our new high school and assistive technology program as well as our Adult Training Centers, Early Intervention Program and Residential Services. After a team of evaluators spent three days visiting our programs, we received a three-year accreditation in every area in which we applied.
Achievements like this are a testament to the consumer families and staff that have worked as a team to make this agency what it is today. And they are also made possible by friends like you, who take the time to learn about us and about individuals with disabilities.
Thanks again and enjoy!

Sincerely,
Alan Mucatel
